I've seen even level 20 odds use the KAC PDW. Must be a good gun. Really cheap too. Never used it though.
Is that the gun we start off with? I found most one-on-one shootouts to end with me aiming straight at their guy but still dying. Maybe that's the lag though.
at bolded I know that feel. No not the starter one. You'll see it for 8k CR. It has higher base damage but I don't think it has the scope. Weapon set 1, 3rd gun down I think? You should have enough money to unlock it. So buy it and try it out if you fancy. Regarding the one on ones - obviously, always aim for the head for maximum damage. And don't shoot standing still, keep walking side to side and adjusting your aim accordingly. It's called strafing I believe. That's honestly your best chance. But yeah you're right. Lag can really screw you over in one on ones.
There was this level 28 guy who was using the KAC PDW I believe. I killed him at the start and I was a relatively low level (noob) so he must have been a bit mad. He made it his mission to absolute rape me for the remainder of the game. Just hunted me down at every opportunity. WAC. He had some mean modifications on the regular KAC PDW though. You can complete those W tasks which enhances your gun's capabilities.
35 longshots with the KAC PDW adds a silencer to the gun for example. Pretty achievable. Should get used to a different gun because the starter one only lasts 5 days and then you have to pay 285GP to get it again forever. So you'd have to spend real money.
That used to be my technique in fps, until I played humans who could actually aim and reacted upon hearing random gun spray.
