was it that clear? certainly it would have been no fun to play as black, but kasparov seems to think that carlsen would've held anyway

 

yeah enormous blunder but that's one of the more complicated positions you're likely to see in a world championship match. as far as blunders go, one of the more predictable/forgivable ones.
