How fucking convenient for the comic writers. Yeah, I realise I'm being that annoying guy, but these sort of plot devices honestly piss me off. We've got the Captain transported to current times, let's do the same for his buddy too!
That's the whole point of the winter soldier arc though. The films have skipped like a huge amount in the CA timeline though, Winter Soldier as a character is < 10 years old in real time. I mean at the end of the day if you don't want to see a film based off a comic book using comic book plotlines then don't watch it.
Nah, I'll watch it anyway. If they make a movie on the Civil War storyline is when I give up on the franchise.
considering its been saying bucky is the winter solider in cast listings since the movie was first announced I don't see how its such a surprise
Meh it was ok, had all the lame shit you have to expect out of an action movie but putting those aside it was decent. Won't come close to THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN though.
I know right!? Have literally been in love with Stone for 3+ years now and probably wouldn't say no to Garfield either. Thought the 1st was pretty good and ranks near the top of my favourite action films. Villain is definitely better this time too which was the slightly disappointing part of the 1st. Comes out in a week and a half here and I'll be seeing it first day.
Hey guys, sorry for being such a party-pooper yesterday with the whole Bucky thing. I didn't have all the facts and shouldn't have been so impulsive in my criticism.
Yeah she is a mighty fine lady. I actually really like Prof. Conners as a villain, one of the best characters that I remember from my childhood. I'd still love them to bring King Pin in as a villain... he's such a gun character nw mate
The original spiderman films were so, so so terrible its untrue. The first one was okay but after that they are fucking shite
Lol, not even close. Worse writing, worse dialogue, worse casting. I was a kid who saw it when it first came out in 2002 and thought it was great but TASM is just so much better, there's a reason they rebooted it 5 years later. I'm also a Maguire fan but he's got nothing on Garfield in this role and the chemistry he's got with Stone makes it an absolute no contest, Dunst is hopeless.
Well yeah as I pointed out earlier, The Lizard didn't really do it for me but The Green Goblin is just a better villain regardless of context, who is in all likelihood being saved for the final movie of the reboot?
