Williams probably cost the Bulldogs the same as Manly paid for Lawrence, Horo, Symonds and Fa'aoso. All of whom are better players.
Good on Gus for finally ripping into him. Taupau should be dropped, is Kasiano back next week? They should be able to exploit the Roosters on both edges next week, surely.
Reminds me a lot of Norman @ 5/8, good show and go, decent footwork but just lacks the vision to ever be a decent ball player. He'd probably do a decent job @ 5/8 if he had a dominant half inside him but yeh I agree he's been found out massively.
He'd be fine if he had a more structural/organising half like Luke Walsh inside him. He just appears to play off the cuff, which works better when we have Kasiano and Graham etc creating confusion with their short balls in and around the ruck. Right now we don't have that option and we're playing more traditionally so he's struggling. Doesn't help that he has Tony Williams standing right next to him half the time too, does that cunt seriously not know anything about positioning?
I think Williams is his biggest detriment atm. Just look at the forward pass he had to throw last night cause Williams was too lazy to get back and as a result in his way.
