    While Parker is out. Gillett in 13 should help Norman and Wallace as he provides that extra bit of ball playing ability and it allows them to keep Teo and Glenn on their edges where they are much better and Gillett in the middle third where his defence is stronger afaic.

    McGuire, Civo and Hannant are all 60+ min players. But then again so are most of our back rowers. Thaiday must be in the back row IMO, at least early in the match. He really does nothing at prop in the first 30 or so mins. Gillett seems to be being used as another battering ram too, I'd look at giving Glenn less minutes, he doesn't really have to play the whole match, and have Gillett roam more on the edges instead to try his hand at some ball playing and hole running.

    Um, what? Since when are these three 60+ minute players?

    Number of 60+ minute games in the last 12 months.

    Civoniceva - 1.
    Hannant - 2.
    McGuire - 3.

    You can make a case for McGuire I suppose but he'll be burnt the fuck out by mid-season if he's asked to play those sort of minutes each week for the next month and a half whilst Parker is out. Hannant is the same. He can do it but over a month or so he'll be warn out especially if he has to play Origin.

    Civoniceva is just ridiculous though. He's never been a 60+ minute player, he turns 36 this year, and there's a good reason why his Origin days may be over - The old boy is weary.

    Well, yeah 60 mins is a bit over the top, but we really want them playing as much as possible. They are one of the main keys to our season.
