    That's not a bad idea but with no Parker I'm afraid we have to play Thaiday in the middle-third. Unless you want to move McGuire to lock and bring in Anderson or some other muppet front rower.

    FYI, the side named for this week is Thaiday back in the second row, Te'o at lock and Anderson on the bench with McGuire and Gillett.

    Te'o at lock is a dud move. His defence is very ordinary. I'd sooner ask Gillett to defend middle-third. I mean Te'o made 12 tackles and missed 4 last week. That's not even FG standard. That shit is Tony Williams-esque. And the week before, he made a whole 11 tackles in 46 minutes. Asking him to start in the middle is ridiculous afaic.

    I like Te'o in the middle during attack but I like him hitting holes also. Reckon he could make a decent crack at it, have to wait and see if he improves from his meh stats that MF posted up I suppose.

    Yeah Teo and Glenn are not good enough to defend middle third, Gillett isn't heaps better but I really ratehis attack through the middle third and it allows you to keep Anderson, Dodds, Hala etc out of your front row rotation which is important.

    St George Illawarra have been linked to Stewart for months, but Queensland sources on Friday said talented Broncos utility Gerald Beale could instead be headed to Wollongong as the joint venture's custodian in 2013.


    Good fucking riddance. Beale is a gun fullback, but he has been piss poor on the wing for us this year, and was a joke in the centres for un zud. So with Hoffman in the squad, feel free to fuck off.

    I've heard from a mate that DCE is a "certainty" at the Broncos. He is buddies with a guy who knows DCE a fair bit from his days at the Sea Eagles QC side.

    Taylor was knocked back because Broncos are saving cash.
    Beale won't be here next season.
    Teo's retention depends on Petero's intentions for next season.

    Feeling like a faggot for typing DCE all the time.

    If Cherry-Evans was to sign for us and Beale was fucked off, how would our backline measure up? Personally, I really like Norman's running game, he does cause a few issues with defence when he takes on the line, and he is a actually a pretty big guy (weighs 96kg) so I reckon he'd do alright in the centres. Reed is also very good under the high ball so we would actually improve in that regard if he was moved out to the flank.
