Nah it's pretty sick, doesn't follow the book as much and definitely isnt as good as it but still pretty good none the less, definitely a favourite.
I'd have to agree with MF in regard to A Clockwork Orange. I thought it was pretty terrible myself but I've also read a lot of positive reviews. Never read the book so can't comment there.
Yeah there's a bunch of different things in the book to the movie, I just reckon the story and the language is pretty cool. I'd imagine it was considered pretty hardcore when it first came out.
To Kill a Mockingbird is a fucking awesome book and a slightly less awesome movie, Gregory Peck WAG, Atticus Finch WAFG.
Some cunt on here is bound to know whether the Twilight books came out before the movies. If the books were first, it would be safe to say that the movies have been a pretty big success.
