I need some seriously reliable P.C help...so the delete system 32 funny F****** can shite off straight away. About a month ago my P.C monitor would start to flash the screen on and off and after about 6 flashes, the blue screen of death would come up with the following Stop Error Code: 0x000116 I have no idea what is wrong, I cleaned the computer out thoroughly on the inside as it needed doing...but the problem still persists. The computer used to occasionally flash the screen and a message would say something about display screen driver has recovered. Not sure if it has something to do with the graphics card....any serious help would be appreciated.
Yeah, do the RAM test as Wee3Men suggested. Have a feeling it's the RAM. If not check if you have the drivers installed for your graphics card.
Install linux :ninja: Just got a new power adaptor for my Toshiba laptop. In the mean time, the battery has gone flat. Plug the adaptor in, and it goes hard, but it wont charge any life into the battery. Just says charging, and stays at 100%. Not too fussed though, works good
What Toshiba laptop you got? I bought the Satelitte A600 last week. I think its the A600. It's a good machine. Pretty damn quick with a shit load of memory.
It's old-ish, maybe 2 years or so? It's a Satellite Notebook though, pretty gun once you get rid of the shit software that comes with it
Toshiba DVD player, the burning software, and the hot keys programmes are all arse. Download Nero, VLC Media Player, Google Chrome, makes the experience a shitload better and faster
Yeah, i downloaded firefox.. need to download nero... So what was it all.. DVD player.. burning software and hot keys programme.. what you mean the hotkeys program ? When you press FN it comes up the top ?
Who knows their shit about router settings? My Router is developing a filthy habit of dropping off at random times. The DSL connection is still present but it appears to be timing out and unable to connect to the PPPoA. Quite frankly, it's batshit annoying. Any ideas? Mainly looking at you Flack, with your hidden post count
Probably not enough Watts to power it. Same thing happened to me. Brought a 65W one for my Dell, turns out it needed 90 or 100W to work properly.
What OS are you using Dougy? If you're using Windows 7, this forum might help. http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/
