    My ranking flatters me a bit and fluctuates wildly from around 450-ish and 700-ish. Reckon I'm actually at the 700-ish mark. Don't know how I got so high anyway as I've hardly invested any time in it. I did make a couple of really astute, cheap purchases (Ebeling, being the best example).

    Not the case if you're 5th/6th in the league every season. I don't have any guaranteed wins unless I get relegated. However, I guess being in the top division gives me more $$$ than I'd be getting in Div 3 in NZ (which is where I was floating around before as I recall)

    Exactly. It's where I've been for the past 4 or so seasons. Not complaining though, I remember the days of complaining about being stuck in div 4 (1st being too hard to beat and the rest of the league being bots) so long ago haha (noob days). Not the case with div 3, everyone is an actual manager.

    I'm in the situation where I cannot beat 1st or 2nd however I'm guaranteed 5th and can go as high as 3rd. Currently in 4th, 1 point behind 3rd. Just beat 3rd last weekend and I should over take him this weekend so looking good for 3rd this season.

    The advantage of being in a larger country in the future will be the far superior number of members we have over the managers in the smaller countries. If you're played for 10 seasons and are in Div I then members are the only revenue grow every week (apart from match revenue obviously) that you are going to get. In the future this is going to be a huge advantage. And we will catch this guys that moved to a big country and are making way more money... for now
