Anything by Split Enz and Crowded House.

Surprised this hasn't had more of a mention.

Finn brothers = 75% of New Zealand music.

  3. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Sigh. Why not include Betchadupa and Liam Finn as well, then you've got 95% of Kiwi music being produced by the Finn Family, I suppose.

  4. Frizzed WC Welker

    Man up and post it.

  5. SM MD Dorn

    Push Push - Trippin'

    Heath to massively AWTA

Haha. Now, that's what I'm talkin' bout.

None of the Kiwi music that I really like would be as successful as that though. The Chills, Sneaky Feelings, Terminals, The Bats, The Verlaines, The Clean, Bressa Creeting Cake, Straitjacket Fits and The Subliminals. Probably aren't many, (if any) videos of them on You Tube, but there might be.

    Anything by FOTC...

A mate from gave me a couple of songs off The Subliminals' United State and The Crystal Chain. Some good stuff there.

    This.

    And Liam Finn.

Bloody hell. Someone's actually heard of them. Uh-Oh is a brilliant song. Utterly brilliant. Love their bass lines. Indian, The Crystal Chain, Bug Powder and Unitedstate are also pretty solid too. Very much an acquired taste though. HDU would be a pretty similar band, I'd reckon. Or going further back, maybe Bailterspace.
