Round by Round review of the draft so far.... Round 1 1. The Half Back - Johnathan Thurston 2. Hunter - Greg Inglis 3. Benny - Cameron Smith 4. Alex - Cooper Cronk 5. Cloughie - Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 6. Zakaron - Josh Reynolds 7. Julian - Shaun Johnson 8. Tartmaster - Ben Hunt 9. Boobidy - Daly Cherry-Evans 10. Rocks - Michael Morgan 11. Lukic - Kieran Foran 12. Ged - Todd Carney Best: The first few picks were all pretty much on the money IMO top 3/4 went in order of my preference at least so they're all solid picks no one dropping the ball too badly but but no real standout steal as such Worst: Josh Reynolds at pick 6 you only have to look at the following picks tbh, other than that picking Carney so early stands out as a huge reach IMO seems to me Ged had himself set on a top class half missed that bunch and panic picked Carney who hasn't been world class as much as I've liked the bloke for a good few years
Round 2: 1. Ged - Anthony Milford 2. Lukic - Aaron Woods 3. Rocks - Matt Scott 4. Boobidy - Corey Parker 5. Tartmaster - Jessie Bromwich 6. Julian - James Graham 7. Zakaron - Adam Reynolds 8. Cloughie - Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Alex - Jason Taumalolo 10. Benny - Paul Gallen 11. Hunter - Simon Manering 12. The Half Back - Benji Marshall Best: standout steal for mine in this bunch was Graham, definitely in the top few props in the world and snagged halfway down the 2nd, I liked my Gallen pick but I'm biased too Worst: THB picking Benji so early, guys not lit the world on fire for multiple seasons even before his Super Rugby sojourn so that wins (loses?) this round - could be a bit of a recurring theme here but burning the first two picks on the Reynolds is pretty dubious.
I regret picking the Milf and Carney with my two picks. Definitely needed one of the two but probably should have gone with a middle third gun for the other spot.
The fact that he went 1 and 2 rounds befor SKD and Jennings is ridiculous imo and that's just guys that are better on his own team
