Bit of a shock result in this one, particularly with the Dwarfs at home. Messi was awesome as expected, from CAM in order to accommodate Llorente. But Gundogan was the key man really, managed more passes than anyone else in the game and basically ran the show from deep, for Cloughie and GF. On top of the screenshot, Hangeland was also booked in the 87th minute.

Another surprise result IMO. Jordi Alba out for 4-5 weeks only adds to the misery, and Younes Kaboul likely to be out for 6-7 weeks too with a fractured wrist. A moderately even game but Toure's late winner gives Team Rocket all three points to cap off an incredible midfield display from Toure and Schweinsteiger. They dominated the middle of the pitch against Arturo Vidal, Claudio Marchisio and Lucas Moura - not an easy task. De Gea also won the battle of the keepers.

Higuain put FUCK's season into motion in the very first minute of their game with the first goal of CFL Season One. My favourite's for the title then pushed on to win 3-1, despite an equaliser from Andrea Pirlo. De Rossi put in a fabulous performance, as despite being part of a two-man central midfield unit with Michael Carrick, he was still able to outplay the likes of Pirlo, Song and Hamsik. Again, there was a massive difference between the two keepers - Joe Hart with an error too many.

Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers vs. Belgium Lovers

Yet another surprise result. However, the Flower Arrangers were on top for large parts of the game but it was the Cristiano Ronaldo show as he scored two in two minutes to give Mouse and Logan the win. The Flower Arrangers went for an odd-looking 4-5-1 with Javi Martinez and Xabi Alonso at DM with Sebastien Kehl in front of them, and Mario Gotze playing from the right. The Belgium Lovers, meanwhile, went with a 4-2-3-1 with Xavi and Sandro playing from deep. Encouraging signs for MMFAFC despite the loss as the Belgium Lovers pick up valuable points.

Noobs United vs. The Dereks

Bit of a bloodbath this one, and really the Noobs should have taken advantage of their lack of opposition but the Dereks will be delighted to cling on to a point after the two sendings off (what is this, SoccerSim?!). Adil Rami also likely to be out for 6-7 weeks with fractured ribs which rubs salt into the Noobs' wounds. Noticable performances came from Jesus Navas, who was excellent on the right-flank of the Noobs' 4-2-3-1 and Andres Iniesta who conducted play fantastically, playing as a false winger from the left hand side. Sergio Busquets was the star man for the Dereks as he held things together as he played the last fifteen minutes as the only central midfielder for the Dereks, up against Gerrard, Khedira and Aguero for the Noobs.

I'd have predicted a draw pre-game in this one as these two teams who're fighting for upper-table positions came together. Lots of the game was played out wide as the Skrtels looked to take advantage of their superior wingers, in Robben and Mata. However, Falcao having a poor game meant the FAPPERS were always going to struggle for goals in the absence of Cesc Fabregas from CAM. Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko didn't trouble the opposition full-backs nearly enough.

 

What kind of shit starting line up is that from SAF. Useless cunt, should fire him.

 

Ugh. Was hoping for a win. Rami gone is horrible too.

 

I imagine he'll shift to a 3-4-1-2 and play with LM/RM and go for Ribery at LM. That'll be fun.

 

Got a hernia the week before the game. Out for a month.
