Announcement: Reserve Grade

From the half way point of the season, a proper reserve grade will be introduced. There are two rounds of matches before the half way point. These six games (plus 2 reserve games) are likely to take 3 weeks.

Fillers will be provided to make up holes in each team.

What this will entail

Teams should sign up as many unsigned players as possible. There are 27 unsigned players in the database (though many of these are inactive). Where possible, these players will be fillers for their previous team.

What I need from each team

1. A name for their reserve team. These will need to be approved by me & Cribb.
2. A Reliable selector for the reserve team. You don't get your team in, your reserves won't play. Simple as that.
3. Clubs to sign up any unsigned players. Hurricanes & Vikings are slightly behind the rest in this regard. Please remember the Seasonal Rugby Incentivisation Scheme for new sign ups.
4. Encourage Cricsim players unregistered for Seasonal Rugby to sign up. There are a number of active Cricsim players with reasonable RUSim post counts.

We're 28 players short of having enough players without injuries. There are 27 fillers available. But there are simply too many players not getting any reserve game time, and it's hardly encouraging activity so it has to be done.

This will also mean that reserve games will effectively be commentary-less.

Someone should really give Slyza a contract. No one wanted to touch Zohaib for a season, but he's gone pretty well for the Canes and hasn't caused any fuss there at all from what I can see.
