Brumbies v Kittens This is an even bigger mismatch. The Brumbies' lineup is very thin on experience, and much of their lineup has not done particularly well in their careers. In contrast, the Kittens have plenty of good players, of young and old, and are a solid bet to take out the Avo Lovers Cup. What Each Side Needs To Do To Win: Brumbies: Pray for a miracle. Few of these players have done much to suggest that they are future talents in their side. Nothing is impossible, but it's hard to see the Brumbies testing the Kittens, let alone winning here. Kittens: A strong performance from their top 4. Their batting lineup while good is somewhat thin, and a really on day from the Brumbies could potentially exploit it. Key Player: Brumbies: Sam Green. Yes, his best days are a long way past him. But he is still the key spearhead of this lineup. The Brumbies would love him to rekindle his old form...somehow. Kittens: Paul Oz. He may not be the greatest player, but there is evidence that he might be ready to fire. He did have a pretty good season last year, and he is seemingly training the house down, even more so than most of the players in first grade.
