AFL Last Man Standing

I'm going to manually run a Last Man Standing competition just through Excel for this season. If you're interested just post your name here in this thread.

For those who don't know what it is, every week you pick just one team who you think will win. If that team wins you survive, if they lose you're out of the entire competition. Usually after you pick a team they're unavailable to pick again for the rest of the season.

However, I'm going to change the rules up a bit to try make this a little better and run across the full 23 weeks:

• You may pick five teams twice...
• Each team must still be picked at least once (18 teams + 5 doubles = 23 rounds)
• You may not pick the same team two rounds in a row

Late submission/tip changing rules:

• Missing a rounds tip will give you the away team for the Friday night match (or first match of the round), except for Round 1 where entries will be accepted until before the bounce of Thursday's Richmond-Carlton clash
• Picking a team more than twice will be counted as a no submission and will result in getting the first away team that is still available for that person to pick
• A rounds tip must be submitted before the game you wish to tip on, so if you miss getting it in by the start of the round on Friday night you may still tip on the remaining games
• Tips can be changed by PMing me before the bounce of both games (the one you tipped first and the one you wish to change to)

As you can see it's pretty simple, once a week you just post in this thread your tip. AFL knowledge is not a prerequisite.
