What game are you into playing?

nhl 11 be a pro mode is ****ed.

i was dropped to the second line and yet still starting, and playing ungodly amount of minutes, not to mention when i was on the 1st line we were 5-0 and were scoring bucket loads of goals, the instant im on the second line we lose 2-1

 

Yup.

Been playing the Assassin's Creed beta for the last hour. It's alright. It's pretty intense because you never know when you're going to get murdered which is pretty cool. Although as soon as someone gets their button press in, that's it, you're dead, which is a shame. I'd like to see some sort of counter system in place, a timed button counter is all you need. I don't really care about it when you actually get killed because the opponent used stealth well, but when you see a guy coming bright as day who hasn't broken the alert meter you still can't do anything but run. A feature where you could try and identify a would be assassin would be perfect for this. If you spot them correctly you could kill him before he kills you, and if you get it wrong you have to wait a while before you can use it again. Simple.

Also played the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow demo. It was pretty good. The gameplay is so God of War it's not funny, but that's hardly a bad thing, just a little disappointing. It's superb graphically, the story looks intriguing and it's supposed to be a lengthy game (IGN have previewed the first 8 hours and they're at Chapter 3 of 12). Certainly on my radar for next month.

 

only real problem ive seen as well, though i havent really played it that much yet tbh
