Be interesting to see what happens to Leniu. All the cheer players are out in support of Ezra.

Nice to watch a race divide not involving white fullas.

The fact we didn't have Dominic Young, Billy Smith, JWH, Conor Watson & Angus Crichton all not playing in that game bodes well for the season.

Thought we looked very good but spine still should've created more - get some benefit of the doubt given smaller field and only first round..

Imagine including Billy Smith in the list of players missing as though it weakens the team. Cunt is bog.

Spencer has pled guilty, must've got some undeniable evidence.

    There's a video isn't there? Plus I didn't think he'd denied it?

Bog is crazy talk. Have you actually watched him?

He's starting left centre, no doubt about it. And Brisbane would take him in a heart beat over your guy Cobbo at left centre.

  7. Magic AJ Parker

There's no audio on the video, just a video of them arguing.

Seemed pretty obvious he said it as he never denied it when the ref put him on report nor did he deny it when asked about it post match. Also obvious he didn't say it with any malice because he didn't seem to understand what was going on and the consequence of what he said...

Anyone who's spent more than 10minutes in Western Sydney would understand why someone from there would be so numb to that type of language.

Doesn't make it right, he'll sit out a few games, pay a pretty hefty fine and probably have to do some social work but it's been way overblown.

Can't wait for the footy to kick off tonight to finally hear about something else.

Thats some smooth brain shit. He's unco as fuck. Gonna leave Suaalii on the wing and Young, last year's top try scorer in reserve grade so this cunt can play...lol

Not even remotely surprised Canberra are molesting Newcastle here. Its a three-way tie between the Knights, Eels and Warriors for biggest distance between public expectations and what they produce. You gotta write these cunts off for them to show you something.

Both teams were woeful but yeah Newcastle aren't any good, top 4 hopefuls is a laugh. Need a decent half for that.

  11. Magic AJ Parker

Young is the first choice right winger. This has been obvious for a while now.

  12. Jake A Pimpkins

Agree with Knights who overperformed last year with a good run and Warriors who I think will regress this year, not as sure about Eels I feel they underperformed last year but could bounce back

    Toolman likes this.

So full strength do you leave Suaalii or Tupou out?

It's a good problem to have we finally seem to have some proper depth for once, last few years we've had a good starting side but when injuries inevitably come we end up with some pretty mediocre guys out there. Still not convinced on our halves pairing unfortunately.

You can't hear anything in particular on the telecast at least. As for plausable deniability, he didn't confirm nor deny what he said. Just that stuff should stay on the field. If they were able to plead not-guilty, turning it into a he said/she said situation, surely they'd go down that route right?

Or failing that, get David Fifita in and have him try and say he was "talking to Patty".

  15. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Yeah, far more likely an uneducated taunt than a racial slur.

  16. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Haha, he's not that bad. But nor is he as good as what Magic is trying to say. I wouldn't be bringing him straight back in personally. Suaalii did a good job on Staggs in Vegas, and Dom comes straight in for Ponga.

  17. Magic AJ Parker

Suaalii is the odd man out and rightly so. He was underwhelming at centre last year and the difference between him and Young is so minimal you just back Young because he's going to be there for the next 4 years. Suaalii will plug gaps whoever there are injuries and wouldn't surprise me if old man Toops gets a rest sometime throughout the year.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

I didn't say he's that good. Just that he's better than Suaalii and Cobbo which again isn't just saying he's better than reserve grade level. I do think he's got a good level of potential at NRL level though, should he not do his ACL for the fucking fourth time.

Suaalii's performances at centre last year were very underwhelming, I've never thought his skill set translates well to centre. He was decent in Round 1 but not enough to change my opinion on him as a centre.

Jeez, Penny have been sloppy, but Storm's scramble has been insane.

5 favourites lost so far :helpsmilie:
