    Glad we're all here to witness the destruction of our game and its degeneration into soccer/afl. You cant imagine where our game will be in 20 years. It wont be a "back in my day the game was tough." It'll be, "yeah i remember RL, that was a great sport."

    Both he and Brown will only cop a 1 week suspension suggesting its probably not a game wide thing.

    Klein and Cummins both seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. I didn't agree with either sin bins in their games either.

    Some of the onus has to fall on the ball runners too. No one protects their head/face anymore in tackles.

    You watch a loose jersey game from the 90s or the 00s, blokes are running in with their hand/forearm up near their head. I don't mean leading with the elbow or anything, just around that area so you don't cop a flush arm/shoulder to the head. Players these days are running with low arms and are basically leading their run with their faces.

    Helps against fractures though. If protecting the head supercedes everything, I dont see why they arent making them mandatory.

    I think the strange thing about their supposed concern of concussion is they assume all concussions are from high tackles when plenty have been caused on defenders because they put their head in the wrong spot trying to make the tackle. It's a big part why the crackdowns won't solve the concussion issue imo.

    an even bigger issue is subconcussive impact, basically every tackle is a mini concussion and it all adds up over a lifetime
