Cotter is a machine. Earnt that woeful haircut.

I'd drop Flegler. Offers nothing really. Got some dumb shit in his game. Get big red in there.

Coates was surprisingly great from his own end. Justified his selection. Hammer has been a revelation this year.

    Yeah completely agree.

I'm curious how the first half would have gone with someone like Hynes partnered with Moses. It felt like there were a few half chances, but just zero chemistry or execution.

I feel like Yeo's ballplaying is so overrated, especially at Origin level. Murray only getting the last 30 mins tonight was shit, he should be ahead of Yeo for 13 imo and definitely getting more minutes than that, although I'm not sure if his injury cloud coming into the match was why he played so little.

Slater 2 series in 5 games. 4 wins from 5. Giving Mal a run for his money.

That’s the worst series loss in memory. Outranks 2020 by a mile.

That side was completely bereft of a game plan and an identity. Not sure where NSW go from here but you’ve got to put a broom through most of the team and the whole coaching staff. Disgraceful.

Nothing will top 2020 because it was up against literal reserve graders, but yeah 2020, 2022 and 2023 NSW got outcoached. The attack relies totally on Tommy/Latrell, without them we're nothing.

Silver lining for NSW is game 3 is an opportunity to experiment. No reason at all to not try Latrell or Edwards at 1, Graham at 3, Walker at 6, and so on. How much worse can they do really? Gotta start building towards 2024.

NSW losing their challenge for the Luia incident, and then getting another one later in the game? Video ref clearly stated they lost it first time round.

Cook, a hooker, gets put at centre when it shouldve been Murray and that proves second rowers cant play centre. Brilliant take.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

Video ref was wrong, if a decision is over turned the challenge is retained. Has been that was since the inception of captains challenges.

On this one I disagree, qld weren't dudded. First half though I'm still with ya.

Not my fault you cant read, sweetie.

Yeah apparently they fucked up and reinstated it after the fact. Just didn't tell anyone broadcasting the game apparently.

It's either Addo-Carr or Tupou on the wing. Both very different wingers but there's not much else.

Going for someone like Jason Saab just for the sake of change isn't it either IMO.

    This thread is enjoyable

I'm genuinely looking forward to what Fittler picks in game 3, cuz you know he will be picking what he wants without any advice. We could see some weird shit. He might be crazy enough to pick Cook at centre.

Qld $1.80 favourites in Sydney is so funny. Clean sweeps are almost impossible to clinch away from home. Slater has Bennett like ability to get his men up but I'll be shocked if we win. I honestly dont think we even played that well in the first two games. Blues just have nfi how to construct a try.

Truth be told Payne Haas shouldve been motm. Never goes to a player on the losing side but he could not have done any more. 160m, 41 tackles with 1 miss, 4 offloads, 5 tackle breaks, 0 errors, 0 penalties.

Some of his runs before and after ht were ridiculous.

Mo was injected at the perfect time last night. Did some big carries and vital defensive efforts when the Blues had their tails in the air after their try. Hopefully he leapfrogs Flegler in the pecking order.
