    He is going to be our 2nd best hooker behind Roby easily soon, Better than Scott Moore I'd say, Plays very much the Roby way, very direct, good ball playing skills, and scores quite a few trys as well, not sure how he did but KR drew with Wigan last night so might be worth a watch.

    Mason is impressive because he is still playing well at his age and after being written off 3-4 years ago but he was world class in his prime and he isn't close to that anymore.

    He'd still be a good addition to the Broncos though.

    Last year was genuinely some of Mason's best footy IMO. Certainly his best footy in the front row anyway, which is where coaches have always wanted him to play. He's been less good this year but it's hard to tell how much of that is age and how much of it is the cancerous underperformance of the Knights team as a whole.

    Incidentally, amongst the crap on the Wests Tigers Facebook page, I came across this today which I find interesting:

    So maybe we should add "completely moronic fans" to the neverending list of things stinking up the JV.
