    very different player to Lowe. he's an edge player through and through so unless teo/McQueen are out/not playing 80 he'll play Reggie's.

    Yeah I agree which is good because there more needs for a backup to play edge than middle third. we've got plenty of options there alreasy.

    Kyle O'Donnell always looked good in the short time he was at Newcastle. Showed more promise than Korbin Sims, that's for sure.

    Picker was pretty much begging for a contract from Canberra, it's ridiculous that they let him go.

    I said last year my biggest question over their edges was their edges if they copped an injury or two, this has just been an even bigger concern by the losses of Thompson & Picker.

    Imagine during origin having to pick from Edwards, Foster & Setu. FMD.

    They've got Kyle O'Donnell now.. but yeah I would seriously consider moving to Wighton to the pack during Origin if their whole backline was all available. Edwards was actually pretty good in the second row this year but even he is pretty manufactured there and would be better suited up the guts and Foster/Setu are gash.

    I think Patrick Mago will end up as the bench second rower by mid season.

    Ricky Stuart should just go down to Penrith training with a sign asking for any second rowers who want a shot at first grade.

    Jack Bosden has signed with Illawarra to be coached by Jason Ryles. Such a shame he's struggled with injuries, he's got the ability to play first grade.

    He's probably a lock more than anything now but he was an edge runner as a junior. Could definitely be what you've signed him for.
