    Given the international success, I'm guessing that 78 million dollar budget will be slightly bigger for the next one :laugh:

    And ironically, given the all too familiar pattern of dud sequels, it'll probably suck.

    The second book is so shit that I fully expect a stellar movie to confuse us all. Jennifer Lawrence is also pretty hot property right now and I have decent expectations that she won't fizzle out till her late 20s.

    Soz, meant to say great reception. Reviews were down the drain, but despite this it opened in 19 territories and went to number one in 18 of them. Friends of mine in the US said it is good, although a lot of senseless violence scenes.

    They will keep making die hard movies until Bruce Willis actually dies, probably hard.
    And even then, they'll probably keep making them with someone else.

    There's still a market for mindless action movies, and die hard is a massively successful franchise in the genre, why wouldn't they keep making them.
    Plus Willis is a fucking baws.

    Keen for the new one.

    Problem with Die Hard is that it seems to have lost it's original focus - just an everyday cop fighting against the odds in a small area. Die Hard 3 expanded it to a whole city, but the scenario was still mostly the same, and the movie was actually better than the 2nd. Then Die Hard 4 came, and now he's just some kind of superhero.
