    I reckon Brian Smith is probably a good chance

    Pretty lols that Sheens was told by the board that they will keep him but he needs to get the team performing, he then gets rid of two players, players get the shits, board sack Sheens.

    I actually really rate Blair, I don't think he's worth the 400k he's rumoured to be on but I'm tipping Tigers fans will warm to him next season. Will be a good replacement for Ellis on the right fringe.

    Yeah, I agree 100%... I had big issues with the way Sheens played forwards. He pretty much said when he got there in 03 "shit, our forwards are small, so lets focus less on hitting it up for big metres, and focus on just getting to the line, down and up for a quick ptb"

    This remained his strategy, and for mine is sthe reason why blair was shit this year. Get him on the fringes hitting it up hard and finding the offload like he does so well, he'll be worth the money.

    No. He'd be useful in the Gallen lock role for 60 mins a game. 30 tackles, 12-15 runs for 100-120m with a couple offloads and that's all that we need.

    Rubbish. They are two completely different player types. He is definitely not a lock. Should play 2nd Row. You can't just put any backrower in the lock position and expect him to do well. Nor can you expect two different players to have similar stats when they are such different players. Sheesh!

    I thought Blair played the large bulk of this year on the left fringe, I certainly remember Ellis playing on the left through 2010 and 2011. Anyway it's not going to make a massive difference, I'd play Fulton @ lock tbh.

    Fulton would become a specialist defender at lock, which would not only be a waste his ball-playing ability, his combination with Marshall and his improving line-running, but it'd also take something away from the Tigers middle third attack. It'd be a terrible call IMO. Having Fulton defend at lock and attack in the second row with Blair doing the opposite would probably be the best move at this stage.
