    Apparently the Broncos staff and board seem to be of the opinion that he was awesome tactically and just wasn't a good man-manager. Personally I think the benches he was picking speak for themselves about his terrible tactics but if they really do think that way it wouldn't surprise me to see the Broncos hire him back at some point in a different role.

    His benches were shit but I really really loved the way he brought new players through. Most of them were early in the season (with the shit benches), but by halfway they all at least had some experience.

    I heard (just on another forum by a Dragons fan) that Bennett was likely to move back to Southeast Queensland next year whether or not he had an NRL job there because of a family-related situation. It could be bullshit, but I thought I'd just throw it out there. Makes it seem a little more likely he'll be Broncos coach next year.

    I'd actually forgotten about it until he bumped his post and used Henjak's sacking as "proof" that he was correct.
