I told you this would happen if you played me against Victoria. I've been in shocking form in FC - I've averaged over 40 this season - and I'd made a simple request not to play as I'd have a shocker. I feel that I have been set up to fail and have no confidence in team management in helping me develop as a 'young' player in the game.
Poor Kid, you have miss treated his development and now he will never reach his full potential, thats shameful. (wouldn't happen in QLD)
Exactly my feelings on my selection against Victoria, tbh. I asked, you ignored me and I even told you what the consequences would be. What more is there to understand? I don't expect to be selected if I ever declare myself available now, so cutting off the nose to spite the face may be more accurate.
Im here doing whats best for the province, It was a trial game before the PC, you were in contention for a spot in the 15 man squad so i played you. It's not like i get anything out of seeing you play. All i want to do is put the Best XI on the field. First you complained about not being selected after a good Mittens Series, now your cracking the sads about this. Man up.
If he asked not to be selected, and you didn't need him for numbers why select him though. It just doesn't make any sense. And I don't know why you are so frustrated with him not playing. You most likely wouldn't have had him in the team anyway. At best he would be Injury cover.
Nah, you contradicted yourself. I'm trying to stick with your ethos of actually deserving a spot before competing for one. I disagreed with the original reason for being dropped, but after having been, I would think that averaging 40+ would be no good reason to even be in contention and I would have no problem with that whatsoever. I did not want to play in the game vs. Victoria with no form behind me, hence my request. I didn't deserve to be in the 15, and that does not concern me as it happens. There's plenty of bowlers around for NZ, so it shouldn't be a problem for you, eh.
No biggy anyway Heef all it was was a trial match similar to when a touring side tours NZ in real life and they play a domestic 11 or some shiz. Lets put this behind us and let Heef continue to find his path on the BS scene.
