Yeah, Shri coming in at 6 was never going to be the problem as such; it was the fact that it left us with an average looking lower order. Paddy's an orrsome number nine but as far as number eights go he's probably below average, so it took away one of our strengths this season. Still, conceding over 400 on a juicy pitch in the second innings despite having six frontline bowlers is what really cost us IMO.
Or maybe all those not outs were double tons in the making, and they're actually dragging your average down??
You averaged about 30 for the match. That's not too bad. You dominated while it was still green in the first dig.
At least I got Billy and Flack out for ducks. :ninja: Some batting practice in the second innings was also nice.
