I wouldn't say our whole team is firing at all tbh. Devonshire, Bots and myself are no where near career best form, and Luffman has had a few off games as well. Not to mention Blunder, Gee and McGrath who have had 3 or 4 good games out of 7. If we had our whole team firing, we'd be unbeatable..well more unbeatable.
Far from true I've had 3 good innings with the ball 2 of which came in this match, Delonge and Boland are averaging 32, Luffers hadn't really fired till his 151, Devonshire had been woeful with bat and ball until this game, Blunder has been good but not great and I've got a feeling McGrath is the same. Torres,Gee,Storer and Eggman have done alot of the leg work.
We've also had a fair few close matches Rays,Gamblers and Saders matches all could have gone either way shows we aren't all firing.
Yeah but you guys were just sleeping giants tbph only a matter of time till some of you guys hit form it just happened to be against us.
That's because your team is full of shit ****s. Does anyone else find this argument retarded? Each side is trying to convince the other that their team is good by the unconventional tactic of... pointing out how shit it has been. All First Class players "fire" sometimes; the difference is in how often they do it.
Our team is full of rep stars. The Vipers players have only ever fired in 7 rounds. They just lucked out and all did it at the start of this season. They won't even make the finals.
The only reason Gemmell averages 50 and not 20 is the fact that he's firing so often. If he wasn't in form such a large percentage of time he'd be a shit ****, hence he is shit in general and deserves to average 20.
Yeah I'd like to think I had a decent game lads, 47 + 81, on top of 2 other 50's in 2 BS games. Probably in form.
