    Just happy that the NRL has control over the draw again. Hopefully this also means we don't have to watch Brisbane every Friday night. Also happy they scrapped the Anzac Test. The rest is meh, as long as Fox Sports gets the rights to simulcast everything then all will be sweet.

    Friday - Monday. Games need to be an hour earlier on Sunday too for mine.

    I still reckon the NRL will trump them on a per year basis. Would love to see them avoid Fox altogether too.

    How long is your deal for? And how many games does Nine actually get to show? Seven payed about $900M for the rights to show 3.5 games a weekend for 6 years - sounds like a bit much imo.

    Just read the article, $925M across 4 years, 4 games a week. Better deal for the NRL pay TV aside, although rep stuff would be a big help for that.

    Nine also bought the digital rights with that 925m, which means games will likely be streamed on Stan. If they have live digital rights for all 8 games then it's a bargain for them.

    With Optus buying the EPL rights fair to say Murdoch might be changing his tune on the NRL rights quick smart.

    NRL in a very strong position now to get a good deal for the remaining 4 games.

    No one really knows what Optus is going to do with the rights yet.

    It'll surely end up on Fetch though.

    6pm game will just be at regional venues and NZ.

    Suncorp, AAIMI, ANZ & Allianz to be avoided at all costs.
