Winter of Fire - Ukraines fight for freedom is another terrific doco i have just seen, pretty graphic scenes involving the Berkut.
Yeah watched this. I posted about it in another thread but you should check out Beasts of No Nation even though it isn't a documentary. Netflix are starting to put out some seriously good content.
Read the other day about the guy who was the leader of the park rangers( white lad with the French sounding name) being shot a dozen times and surviving, madness.
It's probably a cliché answer for anyone with Netflix but 'Jiro Dreams of Sushi' is really good. It's an interesting insight into someone that's completely devoted his life to his craft. I went into it expecting some kick-ass sushi, and I got that. But there's a lot more to the documentary. The dynamics between him and his sons was interesting. He's very, uh, traditional. And although an exceptional chef there doesn't seem to be much outside sushi in his life. It's impressive and depressing at the same. I'm seriously hungry now though. Not sure my cooking can compete with what they were serving up.
Yeah I saw this a couple of years ago. I know people who are obsessed with this doco and it was interesting but jeez it was way too long.
Yeah, that's a fair criticism. It probably could have been 45 minutes rather than an hour and a half. The next documentary I'm going to watch is called 'The King of Kong': http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0923752/
Nah lol I was just being nice it was boring as shit. It's 1 hr 30 mins footage of a riot basically, pretty much nothing happens except a couple of times the police whack some people with sticks.
Funny pic bro, spend much time looking for it. Cricsim might not be the place for you if you are a little sensitive
Basically just admitted that I owned you with that shit comeback. The pic describes you perfectly lmao.
