I thought I'd give everyone an update on the leading BS8 run-scorers and wicket-takers going into the last round to add some interest, as it's pretty close. A few teams will have an extra game or two, of course, so that's worth taking into account. That's actually the top 11 there. I just listed everyone with 1000+ runs or 50+ wickets. You have 995 runs.
Rays with 3 of the top 12 wicket takers. It's hard to be top when we're all competing for wickets. 3 best bowling averages there too.
Tyson's very well entrenched in the team TBH. You may end up in the first choice eleven, but it wouldn't be Tyson you'd oust to get there.. probably Flack.
So dire. We have 2 batsman inside the top 10, and the best bowler, and we're sitting last at the moment
It shows how the Qlders are in form too. Lover, King, Funkotron, Man in the most wickets list and Vago, Downpipes, Jemmell, Perry, Gee in the most runs list.
****ing hell, we should not lose the PC, really. 7 of the top 15 scorers in the comp including the two best averages and 4 bowlers in the top 8 wicket takers, including the best and third best average.
You could quite easily still take out most wickets, particularly since Bullpitt won't be involved in the finals.
Lol, awesome. I've been incredibly inconsistent this season. I've got the majority of those wickets in only one innings of each mach where I'd get 4 or 5. My average is a testament to Freds awesome season.
Good to see Luffman and Gee up there those two have really been the only stand outs in the vipers with the bat everyone else just chips in round them especially Storer and Devonshire. Bowling hasn't been flash either. Everyone bar Eggman has an average above 30 IIRC.
Poor start to the season didn't help. Second half of the season would be a lot better average wise for our bowlers I would assume.
