This game was effectively a shoot-out between Johns and Eightyfour -- better performer gets a BS place next week -- and they both had fucking amazing games Fangs are a shadow of themselves since some blokes got promoted though.
Firsts likely need a bowler though, so Johns should get the nod. However, I am yet to get a gig though, so might be worth blooding so see how I handle it.
It's a batsman being dropped. But yeah one of the reasons the change will be made is the fact that Lukic isn't hacking it as fifth bowler, so bowling is probably more important.
Ah I see. I really shouldn't mind too much either way. A BS debut is obviously every ALC player's dream, however the opportunity to continue batting form like that in seconds wouldn't be something to be completely unhappy with.
That's the question that begs for an answer really. Does a players form play any part once the player jumps up to a higher grade.
I have no clue, I'd like to think that it would, however with some measure of handicap as to portray the raise of the standard of players to contend with. 1st time my Batting average has eclipsed my Bowling since my formative matches. Pretty happy with that
Yeah. I was curious on how I'd go at 5 this time round, I floundered last I was promoted and was swiftly knocked back down a couple.
