Well given Wighton is 18th man it's ridiculous straight up. Aside from here there's also Croker and Jennings. I think Jennings has probably just been rested but Wighton and Croker would've been much better picks... not to mention the dozens of players who should've been in the train on squad ahead of the bloke anyway.
Yeah, I was just wondering if they had a shortage of blokes put their hand up to play and figured they'd throw a young player in there. Along the same lines it could be that Sheens has already decided on his centres for the final squad. It's not exactly the most prestigious jersey to earn, I'd be well in favour of leaving out that entire back row for younger players.
