    Anyway, the reason why they banned them is because they are pretty sure they have cheated, it's near the end of the season where they can't get off scot-free, but the ASADA haven't finished their report. It's hard to know when they will, and the club may be fucked (though I can't see club-specific punishments hurting them if these don't).

    Yes, I was. Like, I get the whole "stick up for your club at all costs" mentality, but the complete disregard for the welfare of the players who play for the fucking club is pretty rancid.

    If it was Matthew Knights at the helm, they'd have thrown him under the bus and run back-and-forth over him five or six times. But The Cult of Hird™ means that the fans will forgive anything he's done, even though it might very well have set them back years and, at worst, crippled the club.

    - About to receive up to 8 infraction notices, with possible life bans
    - Club may be banned from competing in 2014


    After all of that, They have the nerve to try and sue the Carlton CEO because he mentioned the word cheat.

    Had to 'lol' at Hirds lawyer this morning, something like:

    'James could have cleared his name just like the doctor, he was going to take it to the courts and would have been cleared. But he was under pressure so he just took the ban'

    Little to no sense made, considering he was prepared to fuck about all season when it mattered, he couldn't carry it on for 4 weeks longer once his team wasn't competing.


    Wish some cunt would hurry up and give a clear ruling on all this shit and say 'X, Y and Z took A,B, and C, this was approved by Hird, the players didn't know they were banned substances though' instead on the fucking mess it still is at the moment.
