Been pondering this match several times. Still think Canterbury will win, largely due to having the home crowd advantage but also their ball movement. I won't be at all surprised if Melbourne come out on top though. I think Smith, Cronk, Slater, Bellamy and several others will be gunning for this to erase the memories of 07/09. Toss of a coin really.
Come on Smithy, have a blinder, lead your team to win 1-12, keep the total score below 37, win the Churchill and set up the Hoff for FTS. Then, i'll be happy. Go the Storm in all seriousness though, can't stand the Bulldogs, at all. As much as they didn't deserve to win those stripped grand finals, I think it'd be a shame if Slater and Smith didn't legitimately win a comp. They are greats of the modern game.
Two points in it. It's cracking weather - no injuries to speak of for either team, should be a blinder!
I'll be supporting Melbourne simply because I'll take a non-Sydney team over a Sydney one, and of course the QLDers in the Storm side.
Dogs because I said they were contenders ages ago when others disageed and though the sharks were Also NSW team > Vic or QLD teams.
Bit on the fence of who to go for today, my brother supports the Bulldogs but at the same time I like the idea of a non Sydney team winning the comp.
