I'm actually pretty annoyed at my rating. Made 4 night moves, 2 resulted in a lynch and 1 saved the town. Got a bad rating because I had a massive fuck off target on my back. Sounds reasonable. Obviously Raide played a much better game :sarcasm: Could just be the annoyance that an inactive won the game rubbing off though
This comment is overplayed tbh. I was always going to have to fight hard once Mafia appeared to get a kill and a conversion when I blocked Athers. Cribb's biggest hole in his defence was that he claimed no power when it was obvious he would have one. But my hole obviously looked much worse than his, and was thus always going to be attacked more. Completely AWTA. Cribb had a massive advantage in that he had been inactive throughout the game, so it was hard to rack up any mistakes during the game. He was always going to have a much solider defence than me as a result. The fact that you didn't know that I said my no-block was moved makes it obvious that you hadn't paid much attention to the final day and I'm pissed as a result. Would have been better to say "Over to you, Cevno, I haven't kept up today" than just use prior knowledge. These two posts are so rich. Yeah he was obvious Jabba at the end. Cribb managed to get himself looking town at the end, in comparison your only hope was harping on about us needing to cross lynch first when we had pointed out 1000 times that it was obvious you were trying to give yourself a chance and we didn't care. Yeah, that was bad from me. I just really didn't see Cribb being likely to shoot Blunder over a c'd town like you. Although in hindsight it makes sense as you'd suddenly look like mafia, we'd lynch you and Cribb would win. STFU, noone cares about you. I had a mixed game - read Athlai's bus immediately which was gun but when I claimed Athlai clear from being a killer (which, to be fair, seemed logical and probable), when he surfaced to be Sidius I was always going to lose. That's why I kept on going on about him being probable Jabba, btw - I knew he was doing something strange because he had been claiming sith-hunting while roleblocked but he didn't seem like a possible killer.
I think missing my objective hurt my rating (It turns out it was the last person killed). Killed plenty of people though and was only found out late and in a situation I really couldn't of got out from.
As I said, I was always going to be suss. With Cribb having done next to nothing all game and with the whole Athlai-block thing I was always going to have to fight hard.
It's not like I just fell over the line though. I clearly put a lot of thought into it if you look at my posts in the QT and my posts after the game. Once I actually starting playing, I actually became completely obsessed with the thing.
Your plan would have worked too I think if you had killed Prez/Cevno/Blunder instead of Riddy because I would have had Riddy as neutral, leaving 3 non-town and 2 town (iirc). Lynch town - 3 of us, 1 town - lynch one neutral means 2 of us and 1 town - lynch final town = shared win. If you had PM'd me you would have known I could convert Riddy Although I guess that avenue left us the opportunity to betray you.
Cribb going for me was the obvious move. I was the only one that couldn't be Sith, and if he didn't buy my unkillable story combined with a no kill not being the end of the world. Anyway if you read my posts I'd shown that Cevno couldn't have been sith already.
Well considering the powers you had compared to me, and the small numbers of neutral etc - maybe I did play better
Oh yeah, I'm still annoyed though because you being inactive really changed the way the town played. Also we lost, so I'm annoyed about that
I was very wary of the possibility of Riddy not actually losing his double vote once he converted. When you converted him - if I didn't kill him then and he still had two votes, you got the solo win immediately. That's why I picked him off. I could see the conversion a mile away and was unsure what it meant for the game; it wasn't something I was on keen on finding out.
