So non-professional games should be played more seriously as compared to professional ones? Exactly. I want to win, but above all I want to enjoy the process. You onkthe other hand appear to simply enjoy the end result, which I find odd. I'd leave it there and stop bothering you, since what makes you happy shouldn't really concern me, but the method you're using to reach your result is annoying the fuck out of me and other members who have had the unfortunate experience of having you whine about your batting position and talk about your average in every other post you make in our subforums.
Read again. And try to understand. And anyone else who wants to win doesn't enjoy the process? You are the only lucky one? No. Everyone who wants to win will enjoy the process IMO. I said earlier that I don't care about the majority. I care about what I personally like more. Talking about batting positions etc are more on-topic for this forum than almost anything else. Can't believe you guys are accusing me of discussing cricket simulation in cricsim! What a stupid lot!
It's not all that's talked about - look around there's more non sim related talk than sim talk. This is a community of people to talk about anything and everything. Talking about cricsim is not necessarily "more on topic".
Look, weldone doesn't have to participate in non-simming related discussion if he doesn't want to. It really doesn't matter. The only problem is that I believe some (or even, a lot..) of his posts wouldn't be made at all if they didn't improve him as a player. That goes against the spirit of the forum. The idea of activity and postcount being factors in your performance isn't to make you actively try to get better, but merely to reward those who put a lot of time into the forum and contribute.
So, we should all abuse anyone who talks about his own SC average and highest score and batting position and stuff?
I'm sorry did I say that? No. I was saying you shouldn't claim talking about simming is more on topic than everything else.
And that's just fucking stupid logic. Everyone talks about it - but it's not all that they go on about.
Discussing about what you believe will be a long discussion (in fact, you are wrong), but I am not going there. I have a simple question for you - Do you really think that none of the posts the other members make are to improve their activity and postcount? Fool's paradise, etc etc...
Tbf, this started because some "trying to be cool and tough guys" pulled him up for posting too seriously about Cricket simulation in the Cricket Simulation part of the forum and for the comparison with Virat Kohli. It apparently "bothered" them even if they didn't give a fuck about it.
Pretty much, yeah. Some members do it (usually only when they first arrive), but those tend to the be the members who constantly get bullied for the most part. Funny, that.
I discuss about my batting position, performances, ranks etc. - That's selfish. I discuss about my team's batting orders, strategies etc. - That's spamming. So, what should I discuss? The season 9 Vipers batting order? Or, the gay thread in the off-topic?
