I just realised Tart and Ritchie both decided to name their characters James.

 

You awake on an unfamiliar beach. There is an odd sense of calm in the area. Soon, your attention is drawn to the half-submerged plane to the west. You suddenly remember what had happened.

You were on board a military flight, sponsored by Senator Claire Cheeseman. She had secretly been involved with other members of the Senate to experiment with new drugs that would allow humans to become stronger, faster, smarter; the so called "super-soldier". The scientists in this program believed they had completed a working prototype and demonstrated it on the plane. It seemed to work, with the subject, a common soldier, seemingly being able to lift weights very few humans have been able to.

Things returned to normal for most of the flight, but as the destination island, Miramar Island, was in sight, you started hearing screams and gunshots towards the front of the plane. Soon, the plane began spiraling out of control, with more screaming. Finally, the last thing you remember, was the plane plunging into the ocean.

TUTORIAL #1
-Rounds will usually be 1 hour long. You will each have 6 action points to spend during each round. That's roughly 10 minutes per action point.
-Actions can be used to do various things, such as scavenging, travelling, scouting, trading etc
-Most actions only cost one action point. The most common exception is travelling. Travelling into land costs at least 2 points, water at least 3 points.
-At times, you will lose action points due to attacks by zombies or other perils.
-Some actions can be considered free actions.
-It is up to you to decide what actions you want to take. Feel free to use your imagination.

You can send in your actions each day by listing them like so:

-You each have a radio that can be used to communicate with each other. You can communicate through this thread at any point unless otherwise stated.
-You may communicate privately to anyone else, but you must both be at the same location. This follows an honour system, so it's up to you to not be a dick about this.
-I have enabled commenting on your character sheets, so feel free to annotate stuff, particularly on the map. From now I won't be annotating on them other who else is at the same location as you.

Yeah. Swimming takes 3 actions for one movement.

I forgot to mention a not so obvious action is you can scout in a direction, which will reveal that part of the map for you.
