    Went to GWS vs Essendon a few weeks ago because my Man Utd ticket got me in for free, and it was one of the lamest things I've ever seen. Their home supporter bay literally consists of 20 people and only one of them looks like he actually cares. There was an attendance of about 10,000 which apparently is the second highest attendance for a GWS game at Skoda Stadium. No doubt because half the people there were Man Utd fans checking out a free AFL match.

    That's to be expected. The team sucks, they've got no real star players except for Jeremy Cameron or Callan Ward (not that most Sydney people would even know them).

    I'd expect crowds to increase once the team improves and they sign a couple big names.

    It would be so good to upset Richmond but that is seems unlikely this weekend. GWS have shown glimpses this year and should be more competitive next season.
