So from what I can gather from what you guys have posted in this thread so far, do battles actually require quite a bit of strategy unlike other FFs where you can just grind like crazy if you're struggling?
Yeah, I'm still in the first half of the game, but there were places where some strategy was required. But then again a lot of the normal battles were pretty much just mash X. Still, the game is great IMO, and the characters are orsm.
bad company 2 way better then mw2 atleast you can kick campers out of the building by blowing them up in BC2
Everyone I've talked to has pretty much jizzed to FFXIII. Haven't heard a single bad word about it yet, unless of course you're talking about professional reviews.
Just further proof that professional reviews are rubbish. Definitely strongly prefer it to Mass Effect 2.
Well from reviews it seems that it is too linear but from JRPG fanboys it seems its every JRPG fanboys wet dream.
I didn't like FFXII in that there were reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllly long cutscenes every five steps, especially that one in the beginning with the scroll telling you about the war, and it took forever, got so boring. The battle system was weird to me too.
There are more cutscenes in XIII, but they're shorter than XII's and since the characters in this game are actually decent I don't think it's annoying.
You'll get him back around the start of Disk 2, along with your previous party members except for Kid.
Wow, disc 2? I was loving being able to one hit pretty much everything with Luminaire + his X-Strike with Glenn. My Serge/Glenn/Guile party was mass damage.
Yeah I didn't like those games, plus they just didn't appeal to me for some reason. I love Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger though! That sounds good, especially considering it's a game and not a movie. Voice acting and english theme song seems cringeworthy though, from trailers I've seen. :ninja: I may get it.
Xenogears would have been so much more epic if the second disc was more of a game than a movie like the first disc was.
