What defines a 'score involvement'?

Anyone know? Dangerfield had 9 today, surely it can't be direct assists (the person who passed it to the goalscorer).

It'd be direct involvement, obv. Like a clearance, being apart of a run through the middle, passing to the scorer and probably includes scoring yourself.

Think it's being part of a scoring chain.
