    haha. There's no way that Thurston would be involved in this. How the hell could any Cowboys player be so sure that they'd be able to get a penalty down there in the first place? The whole notion just sounds absurd!

    Few players wear their heart on their sleeve like Thurston. I just can't imagine him placing a price on defeat or even on conceding points. Prepared to bet one ball on this being totally fictional.

    It's not only the dogs game that's shifty, it's their whole darn season. Remember the last game of 09 when they were up by 18 at half time but managed to lose it by 12?

    There was a massive plunge on the cowboys for that one as well.

    Why not? Since when has this guy done anything remotely decent for club matches?

    I saw them play down in Melbourne mid season, I've never seen a less interested player.

    This is a couple of days after he was thrown out of a casino plastered with an injured leg.
