Cowboys attack in good ball has looked worryingly ineffective. Missing Morgan big time, don't get the feeling that a comeback is around the corner like it usually is with the Cows..
Wonder if its something to do with their training or game plan because their starts this year have been at best sluggish.
Refs shouldn't be allowed to make a video ref referral to see if it's a scrum or tap to Melbourne, that's just a call they've got to make on the run. The difference between the two is so inconsequential that it doesn't deserve to hold up the game, not to mention Melbourne lost any momentum they had after kicking the 40/20.
Well they scored eventually but got to say that's a concerning attacking performance from the Cowboys without Morgan. Not sure what their options are around 5/8 and fullback but Thompson isn't the option for mine.. Coote playing 5/8 looks the best option to me even if it's only in attack & they can find someone to plug a hole in defence and just support in attack.
