Getting Jake Friend & Boyd Cordner back next week will definitely help but losing Daniel Tupou with Michael Gordon still out will really hurt. Just don't have the depth in the backs to cover those injuries. Feels like the season will beat us before we can put a bit of a run together. I think our place on the ladder is more a reflection of the competition this year than a reflection of where we are really at, still a lot of development to go with this side, well placed for 2018 just don't see us competing for the title this year.
Embarrassing second half. It's almost like we should just play shit the first half because when we play well in the 1st we are shit in the 2nd and vice versa. Even with how bad we were, Isaac Liu's line break single handedly turned momentum but we just couldn't score with any attack inside the opp 20. Then Radley's awful forward pass off what would've been a 7 tackle set turned the game back in their favour and they blew us away from there. Also, we are desperately missing the second phase play. It has been non existent the 2nd half of the season yet we are letting teams do it on us and it is killing us. I've heard Tupou's injury, as long as it is a strain, won't keep him out for long. Let's just pray TKO hasn't actually broken his finger but it did apparently rip out of the skin.
Manu single-handedly gave away 2 tries with his defence. At least SKD was good at running and jumping. If Manu doesn't make a break with his footwork and he often doesn't he's just a liability.
