Well he was obviously sin binned for repeated offences, not the high shot on it's own. He really should've been binned earlier from the trip though.
Good win tonight. Dogs had nothing. We really need to learn how to fucking tackle. Disgraceful on the ground.
Our starts since that 22-0 lead against Cronulla in Rd16. Rd18 Penrith - 12-0 down after 6 minutes. Rd19 Warriors - 12-0 down after 9 minutes. Rd20 Storm - 12-0 down after 14 minutes. Rd21 Manly 4-0 down after 11 minutes. Rd22 Bulldogs 6-0 down after 14 minutes. Either it's reverse psychology on the part of the playing group, or a rather worrying pattern has emerged here. We gotta do something about it. We caught the Warriors, Dogs and nearly the Panthers. Real contenders like Manly, Melbourne and our next opponent; Souths are not so forgiving.
That's been our major problem all year......well really, since Stephen Kearney joined the club. Great win....fuck we needed that. Best game Barba has played all year.
So good to see the dogs being shown up. Is that 4-5 losses in a row now? Bulldogs mates at the start of the year were asking me who genuinely stood a chance of beating them this year.
Love how Rugby League fans get so fired up over trips. 100kgs+ balls of muscle running into each other for 80 minutes but as soon as someone gets a tap on the ankle it becomes the most dangerous act of play we've seen in our lives.
Yeah it was a good call I reckon. Dunno if it went backwards, I think it was line ball but that's play on regardless of the bounce.
Watch us miss the 8 from here. Should be held the same as a shoulder charge IMO. Both illegal moves that are intentional. I was pretty certain it went forward. Wasn't really bothered by it at that stage though.
