    You wouldn't dare criticise Lockyer. Even when he defended like Chris Sandow in Game 1 - Not a fucking word. Plenty to say about Yow Yeh and Nieslen because they didn't fly through the air like Folau and make a 100m break to score.

    It either broke down because of the flatness of Thaiday, or because of Lockyer being too predictable. You could count the number of times Nielsen got early ball on one hand.

    Exactly the same as those who criticised Gasnier after Game 1 - Wtf are they supposed to do when their inside men give them nothing to work with?

    Thurston created more attacking opportunities with far less ball. It was a poor game for QLD but Thurston was substantially better than Lockyer.

    Can you stop your dire trolling please?

    Do you agree that they went to Inglis' side much more? And a lot of the breaks on that side could be contributed to Inglis. Thurston wasn't much better than Lockyer if at all and you can't say it's not partially his fault for not getting so much more.

    Thurston provided good passes and some creativity on that side and worked ok with Inglis allowing him to get some breaks. They went to the other side slightly less but Lockyer and Thaiday were hopeless at getting it wide to Nielsen/Yowyeh.

    My main gripe is that Lockyer hogged the ball, and did shit all.

    Agreed. Lockyer had so much ball it was ridiculous. Did nothing with it other than one time when he was rushed by a staggered line.

    Lockyer was shit but at some point, as Thurston, you have to DEMAND the ball. He's experienced enough to take over when need be. I was watching closely (to see how many tackles Beau Scott would get) and in the first half at least, every play was run down that side. Thurston, although possibly better than Lockyer has been pretty average in both games. Smith's been carrying the team in the halves for the first two games to be honest.

    Actually it's interesting to note how Nielsen was usually in line with Thaiday when Lockyer had the ball.
