    Let's go!!

  2. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Poor Burton. He'll be 18th man for like the 5th time. Latrell, Watson and Moses are all in apparently. Dunno about Murray. Hynes gone.

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    McInnes gone too.

  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    6. Jarome Luai (Panthers)
    7. Mitchell Moses (Eels)
    8. Jake Trbojevic, capt. (Sea Eagles)
    9. Reece Robson (Cowboys)

    11. Liam Martin (Panthers)
    12. Angus Crichton (Roosters)
    13. Cameron Murray (Rabbitohs)

    17. Spencer Leniu (Roosters)

  5. Jake A Pimpkins

Killer team, long live Madge if he keeps selecting like this

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Definitely a stronger team.

  7. Wilson SB Wilson

I think the team is still fucking dreadful in the forward pack and we’ll lose again quite comfortably.

Latrell is a great inclusion. But shuffling of the deck chairs of swapping one Cam for another, still keeping Yeo and only one front rower on the bench. An actual utility on the bench but if he didn’t play for the Roosters no one would know who he is.

Moses been bog average the last two games as well.

    buckle up.

  8. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh the side is still rubbish, still only 2 genuine props and one of those only averages 30-40minutes at club level.

The Watson slander is wild though, he’s going to kill it if they play him as a mobile middle although in all likelihood I think he struggles to get game time.

  9. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Its honestly a plus for NSW if Trbojevic plays only 25-30 minutes again. Why they dont have another prop is beyond me.

  10. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Mitchell's selection could be the difference imo. Much more of a threat and Crichton back on the right cannot be overstated given the difference he made defensively.

McInnes done a bit dirty imo. Probably a victim of them naming Jake as captain.

  12. Wilson SB Wilson

I think he’s bog average. He’ll be okay with a bit of speed in and around dummy half if they actually chose to give Robson a rest.

The sentiment that he can cover the halves and outside backs is a stretch too. Sure he can, just not well.

  13. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Hopgood might not be picked due to injury, if so, Kaufusi comes in, and Capewell 18th man.

Apparently Cobbo might be dropped too, which is weird cause of how crucial he was last game... Will be interesting.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Cobbo was great in attack and with Walsh going down Slater looked very shrewd by picking him. He was awful without the ball tho. Absolutely awful.

  15. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I dont see any problem picking Watson insofar as he's an actual utility. Big improvement on the absurd choice not to have one previously. The only hooker you have playing 80 was Cameron Smith and even then we had Berrigan come on at lock to double-team. Its just a tried and true strategy.

  16. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

That's fair, but if he wants back cover, he's got to pick a back right?

Fuck, chuck Gags in there, or even Mam or Savage or some shit. Not Capewell, his days in the backs are well past...

He's definitely sending Fifi a message though... Jeez.

  17. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

    Squad named

    1. Reece Walsh (Brisbane Broncos)
    2. Xavier Coates (Melbourne Storm)
    3. Valentine Holmes (North Queensland Cowboys)
    4. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (The Dolphins)
    5. Murray Taulagi (North Queensland Cowboys)
    6. Tom Dearden (North Queensland Cowboys)
    7. Daly Cherry-Evans (C) (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)
    8. Reuben Cotter (North Queensland Cowboys)
    9. Ben Hunt (St George Illawarra Dragons)
    10. Lindsay Collins (Sydney Roosters)
    11. Jaydn Su'A (St George Illawarra Dragons)
    12. Jeremiah Nanai (North Queensland Cowboys)
    13. Patrick Carrigan (Brisbane Broncos)

    14. Harry Grant (Melbourne Storm)
    15. Moeaki Fotuaika (Gold Coast Titans)
    16. Felise Kaufusi (The Dolphins)
    17. Kurt Capewell (New Zealand Warriors)

    18. Dane Gagai (Newcastle Knights)
    19. Heilum Luki (North Queensland Cowboys)
    20. Trent Loiero (Melbourne Storm)

Probs good enough to win, not 100% happy with that bench though. Swap Gags for Capewell and I'm happier.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

That bench sucks. These cunts are allergic to picking props

  19. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

The Loiero and Luki selections are fucking horrendous. Capewell is also 2 years over his best by date.

  20. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah Capewell is a genuinely bad selection. He's a bog edge forward whose ability to play centre is vastly overrated. With Kaufusi on the bench what do you need him for? Just to cover centre? Then just pick a fucking centre. Better yet, fuck him off and pick a prop.
