Great predictions fellas. On the money as usual. lol

$9 Dolphins at 12-6 down. Hahaha.

Spine was superb. O'Sullivan has so much potential. D was on point. Quality first hit out. Thought theyd take a month to show us something. Came out raging.

    Defo bottom 2. Lolza

What a stupid example. They were bottom 4 by two points with three starting spine players (Ponga, Brailey and Clifford) as well as Best, missing half the year. So if your point was the Dolphins will struggle with a heavy injury toll, bravo. Just genius.

I definitely considered dropping Parra back a bit,
Just wasn't convinced enough by the rest to actually change it.
I think Melbourne will have shaky patches, and I just can't rate the Cowboys on principle, so left them there.

    I don't disagree though

Their record was better without Ponga last year than it was with him.

Lol give us a break cunt. They won 3 games - Wests, Wests and the Titans without him. First half of the draw when he was fit they played top 8 sides 8 times. Compared to only 4 when he was out.

Try a bit of intellectual honesty.

It's all good tho. Theyre no longer favourites for the spoon after today. Imma just sit back and get this bag o lemonz ready.

Yeh Luke looks a a much better option moving forward. Has good subtly around the ruck.

Haven't seen it spoken about at all anywhere but I don't think you can underestimate the affect a world cup can have on the comp and no club had more players involved than Penrith, most of these guys weren't back until January so they're already behind the 8 ball, wouldn't be surprised to see them to continue their slow start then pick it up in the back after a couple of months.

Was saying this last to a fellow Panthers. Not panic stations yet.

+ I can always just get one of those phin hats and jump ship

Yeah well done Manly on their premiership, Seibold did well to get that trophy back on the North Shore

Facts mean nothing without context. Your example was dumb. Three key players missing, and a quality centre for half the season. Get real.

Grain of salt sure but you cunts were and are kidding with those predictions. Dogs 6th, jesus christ.

There's no way you're posting anything close to that list after this weekend.

Who knows. I was thinking a dogs side with Thompson & a firing TPJ and a season to get it together. Roosters were poor but were also without 3 let guys in Crichton, Manu & JWH. Few ladders decided in March, but I've also been wrong every other year.

The more I think though the more I think Dragons for the spoon. Just seems a shambles there and 3 years of piss poor recruitment

I would kind of enjoy seeing dogs and Tigers spoon, just because they've essentially done the same thing they did 2 seasons ago

Dogs late 2020- sign penriths assistant, throw money at whoever's about. '22 sack that assistant and get another.

Tigers late 2020, sack club favorite half who was playing pretty good, bring in 30 year old ex panther to skipper. '23 pre season, sack club favorite half who was playing pretty good, parachute in 30 year old panther to skipper.

People just put far too much emphasis on the roster and far too little on the coaching staff. The Dolphins on paper look mediocre but they just so happen to have one of if not the best head/assitant coach pairings in the NRL. Thats a big part of why they'll do okay.

Then you look at a rookie like Ciraldo at the Dogs trying to rebuild. He may succeed. He may fail. Totally unknown quantity.

Easts usually start the season poorly with a truckload of errors. They're notorious. They dont usually get 30 put on and defend so poorly tho. Dolphins couldve run in 6 or 7 tries. I'm surprised no one asked Robinson about it.

Is it really that hard to understand why people may think Roosters are in for a good year then? Good Roster & proven coach?
