Once I get access to the draft class I'm going to post a stripped down summary of the entire class so everyone gets a good idea at who's good at what. From there, I'm gonna allow each manager the opportunity to scout a further five players detailed grades and ratings per draft pick. These will essentially act as individual pre-draft workouts and assist you to find those 'special' players. I'll then PM these results to you directly. From there you'll provide me a list of your preferences for the draft and I'll draft as per everyone's preferences. Hope that makes sense.

76ers move Thaddeus Young After rumours Thaddeus Young was being shopped with a number of teams recently, the 76ers have today agreed to terms sending the young big man to Oklahoma City. In return, Philadelphia will receive young guard Jeremy Lamb and the much maligned Kendrick Perkins. Jeremy Lamb/Kendrick Perkins Thaddeus Young
Nerlens sent to Lakers; 76ers acquire draft pick Nerlens Noel will join his second team in as many seasons in the league, despite not having played a minute of court time due to injury. The Lakers have confirmed they will send their #7 pick in the upcoming draft to the 76ers for the young defensive big. Nerlens Noel #7 1st Round Pick 2014
Actually, 2k14 probably overrates Noel even though he hasn't actually played, so you're probably right.
From my experiences he never comes an All-NBA guy, but he's a DPOY candidate a couple of seasons in, which sounds about right. Nerlens Noel is actually a bloody good player tbf, and no-ones seen him play after his ACL, but a heap of bigs have comeback from it. His best skills don't necessarily need his elite athleticism.
Not to mention he's far more of a known quantity as the 6th pick of an actual NBA draft, as opposed to the 7th pick in a made up class we know know very little about.
Why wouldn't I believe it? It's been proven time and time again. Some of the Teams over the last decade who weren't the greatest defensively Joe Johnson hawks Monta Ellis Bucks Carlos Boozer/Dwill Jazz Melo Nuggets/knicks Nash/Stoud suns Then you have the teams who buy into both disciplines, but very rarely will a team more defensively orientated make the playoffs because they refuse to put teams like that together because it doesn't work. Offense gets you into the playoffs Defense puts you in a position to win playoff games Offense wins you playoff games Therefore without defense you can't win championships. You'll probably come back and say but teams of late like celtics and pacers didnt thrive on offense but they did, they had numerous scoring options which allowed them to get into the playoffs maybe not the volume scorers but the principal is the same you still need to get the points from somewhere.
The trade is good for both teams He has Bryant, gasol which is around 35-40ppg game in game out. Adding a young defender is a good move and it's been seen to work in many championship contending teams; rondo (celtics), Bynum (lakers), Leonard (spurs) etc And as I've already stated you need garunteed points to get wins to be in the playoff mix an I feel I can get far better value in the draft the what Noel offers.
