Fantasy Basketball. There's an online draft for the league and then each week you get matched up with another league member (Cricsimmer) for a whole week. You set your line up of 5 starters and 5 utilities and each player gets points (look at the scoring above) based on their real life performances. The manager with the most points at the end of the week wins the match up and gets a win. There's 2 divisions....the top 2 highest win records from each division advance to the playoffs next year in April. You can trade, sign free agents and everything.
why is an offensive rebound worth more then a field goal? Nothing should be worth more than a field goal IMO!
Yep, except FGA is now -0.44 (it was -0.45 last season) no biggy. Just need everyone's emails now (since there's no other way to invite everyone) if you don't want to make your email public just send me a PM.
Once everyone's joined we can look to have the draft......Personally I reckon Thursday night for the draft??? Like 9pm-ish (NZT) to accommodate for both NZers and Aussies. With Farhat joining we now have 9 members so if they doesn't change, 1 team will have a bye each week. Which shouldn't be too much of an issue.
ummmm You usually score 2 points in a basketball game. so if you get a rebound on average what can happen is your team goes down and scores 2 points. So if you set it at 3 points you are saying a rebound is worth more then the bucket which comes from that rebound. I dunno just how I think about basketball.
