Movie Mashup Mafia: Heroes & Villains - Game Thread

Greetings, as of this moment you are no longer the person you thought you were. You have been sucked into a world in which your wildest dreams and nightmares are possible. You are in a world where the most valiant, gruesome and cunning film characters co-exist, all vying for one thing, power. The peaceful town, inhabited by cinema’s greatest heroes, is under threat from a small band of infamous villains who wish to sew anarchy, pain and terror. There are even ruthless renegades at large who work only for themselves. Those who fight for justice must unite to root out all evil and ensure that goodness prevails while the villains need only to continue slaughtering the upright and faithful in order to claim victory. This is in the final frontier for all the struggles between good and evil that have enthralled you on your movie screens. This is the last stand, the world is in chaos, the stakes are high and the characters very real. YOU are one of them. Good luck. ​

The Heroes aim to eliminate all threats to peace
The Villains aim to control 50% or more of the population
Third Parties have their own objectives

Rules:
1. Votes must be bolded: e.g. Lynch Howe. Other variants such as kill or vote are not allowed. You must (specifically) unlynch before lynching someone else. You can vote to No Lynch if needed.
2. Outside of this thread and your QT (if applicable), you do not talk about Move Mashup mafia.
3. You do not talk about Movie Mashup Mafia.
4. Days will go on until a majority is reached or until 48 hours are up. If the time limit is reached, there will be no lynch.
5. Nights are a maximum of 24 hours, but can be shorter. If you do not want to use a night action, please say so.
6. Inactives will be warned once, and then replaced or modkilled. This goes for both posting in the daytime (at least 1 post per day/night cycle is required) and sending in night orders.
7. Character claiming is allowed.
8. No editing or deleting of posts. No one cares if you make a spelling error.
9. Once you are dead you may not post at all. NOTHING
10. Do not quote any PM's from the moderator or pretend to quote PM's from the moderator. You will be modkilled.
11. Don't ask question relating to wording of PM's such as alignment, ability names etc. You will be modkilled.
12. Don't take things personally or make it personal and remember that it's just a game. If I feel someone has crossed the line they will get a single warning before being modkilled.
13. If you bitch about the characters that were/weren't chosen or the abilities/alignments given to certain characters than I'll just modkill you on the spot. I'm so fucking serious about this it's not funny. Save it for after the game.

Advice:
1. I've tried to insert a few interesting/off the wall roles and some of you will have extra abilities/objectives. Otherwise it's standard mafia.
2. The characters chosen are those who I've deemed to be 'classic,' memorable and simply well designed. I've tried my best to get a split of genres and decades but there's a few things to keep in mind:
- I'm 19. Yes I've done my best to watch a whole lot of film from before I was born but it's almost inevitable that my young age will have *some* bias on the characters chosen.
- I really want this game to minimize the advantage that character claiming is for the town. As such be careful what you expect as there can and will be red herrings.
3. If you're new, feel free to ask me for advice. I'll happily help you to the extent that I can.
4. Don't trust people, most of them are fuckheads.
5. Speculating on characters and roles is part of the fun of the game but beware how much you use this and let it influence your actions.
6. Part of the fun for the mod is interesting and entertaining write ups. I heavily advise against using anything I say in nightly write ups to influence your actions.
7. I'm a bastard mod.

Mechanics:
1. There is a credit system that can be used to buy items put up for sale in the day.
2. Items will give a variety of special effects that will be specified in your PM if you win the bid.
3. Everyone has 1000 credits unless otherwise stated in their PM.
4. You can gift your credits to other players in nightly PM's.
